Immediate Plumbing Service in Curl Curl
If there was one thing that Lorna couldn’t stand, it was a cramped bathroom. They had a very small bathroom sink that was cramped into one corner. She hated brushing her teeth standing in that corner and peering into the mirror from an odd angle.
She wanted the bathroom remodelled and she was working on Jake to bring him around. Jake was plain lazy about it. He too disapproved of the way the bathroom was arranged but he felt that changing it was too much effort.
“There’d be too much dust for one thing. Then, the noise and everything. Besides, who would go and get all the hardware? We’d have to change the tiles too, you know, once we remove the bathtub,” he reasoned.
But Lorna’s mind was set and it was only a matter of time before he gave in to her demands.
Once Jake gave in (albeit with a sigh that could be heard at the other end of the street!), Lorna went ahead with the project in full steam. She took a day off to explore the different plumbing products available in the store. She wanted to check out the price and the designs for light green tiles for the floor and some golden coloured fixtures.
Next, she called her plumber and spoke to him about the renovation.
“I want it done fast because Jake’s parents are visiting during the holidays and everything should be in place before they arrive,” she explained.
Even though there was barely a week left for the holidays, the plumber agreed to give it his best shot.
Finally, things were moving. True to their words, the plumbers started work immediately. They worked very hard for the next few days to meet the deadline. One of them even helped her choose the materials for the new bathroom. Lorna also noticed that they took great pains to keep the rest of the house clean even though the work in the bathroom was messy and dusty.
As promised, the work was completed on time, and Lorna loved the new bathroom. With the bathtub gone, there was now sufficient space. They had a wonderful showerhead in silver and gold. The new washbasin was placed just where she wanted it, below a huge mirror. All in all, it was a great job. Even her in laws agreed with her! She did not forget to thank the plumber warmly for the great job they did!
